Dirty Martini

If you have a taste for a confident blend of smooth, sultry music and cocktail lounge flair, Water Music's libation-themed "Martini" series should definitely be on your menu. Like its predecessors (themed after Black and White martinis, respectively), the music resides on the mellow side, with equal parts retro lounge mystique and urban groove. Many of the artists featured on the album (De-phazz, Ursula 1000, The Dining Rooms, etc) will be unfamiliar to the casual listener, but that is no matter. All the tracks coalesce into one solid hour of mood; one that begs you to partake in some quality chill-out time in the process.
